AUGUSTA, GA, November 30, 2010 – Rural Sourcing Incorporated (RSI), the nation’s leader in domestic information technology sourcing for companies worldwide, will establish a new operations center in Augusta, Georgia. The new office, located at Augusta’s Enterprise Mill, will create more than 100 information technology jobs boosting the city’s local economy.
A joint announcement was made on November 30th by Terry Elam, Chairman of the Development Authority of Richmond County, Monty Hamilton, CEO of Rural Sourcing Incorporated, and Glen Whitley of the Georgia Department of Economic Development.
RSI is the leader in domestic sourcing, a cost-effective alternative to the offshore model for technology development and the ongoing support and maintenance for critical business applications. RSI’s clients range from Fortune 500 companies concerned with managing total costs and risks, to the mid-size and small companies who want to expand their technology capabilities without adding headcount.
Monty Hamilton, CEO of Rural Sourcing Incorporated, said, “Our 300% annual growth rate is indicative of the market’s appetite for a low-cost, high-quality on-shore alternative to the traditional offshore India operations. The Augusta location at Enterprise Mill has already begun hiring staff, and will grow to 100 employees in the near future.
